Diana Frances Spencer Windsor was born in Norfolk, England in 1961. She married Charles, Prince of Wales, the heir apparent to the British throne, and was mother to Prince William and Prince Harry. Diana’s work involved children’s causes, AIDS patients and campaigning for the removal of land mines. Tragically she died in a car crash in 1997 which shocked the world. Her life has had a deep impact on British Society and the entire globe.
