Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton was born in Chicago in 1947. Clinton has been a politician, diplomat, lawyer, writer, US senator of NY, 67th US Secretary of State, First Lady of Arkansas, First Lady of the United States. Hillary became the first woman to win a major party’s nomination for president of the United States in 2016. Clinton strongly advocated for gender equality, children’s welfare causes and general public health care for all throughout her career. Onward Together, a political action organization dedicated to fundraising for progressive political groups is an ongoing group Hillary started.
