Kamala Devi Harris was born in California in 1964. Harris is an attorney, politician, and has served as Attorney General of California, Senator from California, and the first female Vice President of the United States. Kamala is also the first African American and Asian American Vice President. Harris supports healthcare reform, a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants, the DREAM Act, a ban on assault weapons, and progressive tax reform.
