Stayce D. Harris born in Los Angeles, California, served as a pilot in the Air Force and the Air Force Reserves. She is the first female African American to achieve the rank of Lieutenant General of the Air Force. In addition, she is the first Air Force Reservist to be promoted to the three-star rank other than the chief of the Air Force Reserve Command. Later, she became the Inspector General of the Air Force, Office of the Secretary of the Air Force.
