This pattern came about through a suggestion from one of my favorite quilt shop owners. Jackie, the owner of Patches Quilting in Mt. Airy, MD complimented me on a sweater I was wearing that had a clothesline on it! She told me to make a quilt like that! I thought about it and I thought everyone has a laundry room. We all spend plenty of time there. Why not make a door size wall hanging to brighten up the laundry room. Jackie's idea became the first in a series of quilts that are made especially for doors. I have a wooden dowel through my quilt and it hangs on my laundry door. The door hanger quilt finishes at 22" x 36" and there are wooden clothespins included in the pattern packet! It is so much fun! The quilt is pieced and fused. This is a unique touch for your home or for a gift.
