Barbara Jill Walters was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She was an American broadcast journalist, tv personality and producer. She is known for her interviews with world figures and popularity with viewers. Barbara received Emmy Awards for best interviewer in 1982 and 1983. She was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame in 1989.
